GW series cylindrical external filter vacuum filter is a vacuum filter with bottom feeding, suitable for filtering materials with coarse particle size, large density and fast sedimentation speed. CATHAY cartridge vacuum filter: vacuum driven, an efficient choice for continuous filtration
1. Vacuum adsorption to achieve continuous solid-liquid separation
CATHAY cartridge vacuum filter uses vacuum suction as the core driving force, and completes continuous filtration through the coordinated operation of the rotating cylinder and the vacuum system. The main body of the equipment is a horizontally placed rotating cylinder, the outer surface of the cylinder is covered with filter cloth, and the interior is divided into multiple independent filter chambers in a fan shape. Each filter chamber is connected to the vacuum system and compressed air system through a distribution head. When the cylinder is partially immersed in the slurry tank, the filter chamber rotates with the cylinder into the slurry area. Under the action of vacuum suction, the liquid enters the filter chamber through the filter cloth and is discharged through the pipeline. The solid particles are intercepted by the filter cloth to form a filter cake; as the cylinder rotates, the filter cake leaves the slurry area and passes through the drying area (further removes moisture), the blowing area (compressed air blows off the filter cake) and the cleaning area (rinsing the filter cloth for regeneration) in turn to complete a filtration cycle. The whole process is continuous and uninterrupted. A single device can process 5-50 tons of slurry per hour, and the filtration efficiency is 30%-50% higher than that of intermittent filtration equipment.
2. Multi-slurry adaptation, wide application scenarios
Mining field: efficient processing of concentrates and tailings slurries of metal ores (such as copper, iron, and zinc ores), as well as slurry filtration of non-metallic minerals (such as kaolin, gypsum, and talc). Taking iron concentrate as an example, after being treated by the CATHAY cartridge vacuum filter, the moisture content of the filter cake can be reduced to 10%-15%, meeting the feed requirements for subsequent drying or smelting, and reducing drying energy consumption.
Chemical industry: suitable for the filtration and separation of chemical slurries such as dyes, pigments, and fertilizers, which can accurately intercept solid particles, improve the purity of the filtrate, facilitate solvent recovery and material purification, and reduce production costs.
Environmental protection field: outstanding performance in the treatment of industrial wastewater and municipal sludge, can filter sludge with a moisture content of more than 95% to a moisture content of 60%-70%, and facilitate transportation and disposal after a significant reduction in volume, reducing the risk of environmental pollution.
Food processing: Food-grade stainless steel and sanitary filter cloth are used, which can be used for filtering starch, juice, dairy products and other slurries, removing impurities and retaining effective ingredients, in line with food hygiene standards.
3. Performance advantages to ensure efficient and stable operation
High filter cake dryness: Through deep dehydration and adjustable vacuum degree (-0.04 to - 0.08MPa) control in the suction area, the moisture content of the filter cake is 5%-10% lower than that of ordinary filtering equipment. Taking gypsum slurry as an example, the moisture content of the filter cake can be stabilized at 10%-12%, which is convenient for storage and transportation.
Good filter cloth regeneration effect: The cleaning area adopts a combination of high-pressure spray and brush cleaning, combined with a countercurrent flushing design, which can effectively remove residual impurities in the filter cloth, and the service life of the filter cloth is extended to 300-500 hours, reducing the frequency and cost of replacement.
Low energy consumption: The vacuum system adopts a high-efficiency water ring vacuum pump or screw vacuum pump, with a motor power of 3-15kW, and the unit processing capacity energy consumption is 15%-20% lower than that of similar equipment, which is more economical for long-term operation.

Corrosion-resistant design: The cylinder and slurry tank are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel, with excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistance, can handle corrosive slurry with a pH value of 2-12, and have a service life of 8-10 years.
Stable transmission system: High-precision gear or chain transmission is adopted, and the variable frequency speed motor is used to adjust the cylinder speed (0.5-5r/min) according to the characteristics of the slurry. The operation is smooth and free of jamming, and the failure rate is less than 3%/year.
Reliable sealing performance: The contact surface between the distribution head and the cylinder is made of wear-resistant alloy material, with precision machining, and the vacuum leakage rate is less than 1%, ensuring stable vacuum suction and guaranteeing the filtering effect.
